Minlin Liu, L. AC.
Dr. Liu is an expert of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) who has been practicing holistic Medicine for over 34 years.
She graduated from Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and obtained her MD in TCM in 1988. She was a Clinical Physician in Guangxi International Zhuang Medical Hospital, Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for 6 years and an Attending Physician of same unit for 8 years. She later went to Japan and opened her clinic of Traditional Chinese Medicine for 5 years.
After moving to the United States, she served as a Researcher in Endocrine Unit, Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School for 7 years. She then worked at the New York Injury and Rehabilitation Center for half a year and opened her own Acupuncture practice in Manhattan, New York in 2013.
Her specialty include Scalp Acupuncture, Auriculotherapy, Facial Acupuncture, Abdomen Acupuncture, and Navel Acupuncture; Moxibustion; Herbal Medicine; Cupping; Gua sha; Traditional Massage.
Frank Fengyu Zhao, L. AC., PhD
Dr. Frank is an expert of complementary and alternative medicine who has been practicing holistic Medicine for over 38 years.
He graduated from GuangXi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and obtained his MD in TCM in 1984.
He also has been trained in Rehabilitation Medicine (physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy) in Japan and obtained his PhD in Neurology from Tokyo Medical and Dental University.
He was the director of Acupuncture Dept. in China and Senior Research Fellow in the field of Herb and Acupuncture at Harvard Medical School. He is Board Member of United Alliance of NYS Licensed Acupuncturists, Vice Chairman of the World Manipulative Medical Association, Exclusive Council Member of the 3rd Board of Specialty Committee of Orthopedics and Traumatology of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and Professor of New York College of Health Professions. Visiting professor of the following Japan Branch: Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Japan Branch, Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Japan Branch, Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Japan Branch, Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Japan Branch.
